  On 8/8/2016 a lawsuit was filed in Santa Clara County California against Jake Peters of Jake's Bail bonds, Bankers Insurance Company and Brian Kesneck (Bankers President ) for FRAUD and CONSPIRACY and EXTORTION. Jake Peters is a bail agent who has been arrested and charged with several felonies relating to his illegal bail transactions with his clients. During the investigation it was uncovered that the fraud extends into the surety division of Bankers Insurance Company that Peters used to underwrite his agreements. Peters and Bankers would have their clients pledge real estate as collateral for bail. Peters would then overcharge the clients and begin foreclosure proceedings on the pledged properties. The scared homeowners would then pay the extortion monies in fear of losing their properties. On one of Peters felonious transactions, one of his clients filed a complaint with the Department of Insurance. The DOI investigated and ordered BANKERS to reverse the illegal fees. BANKERS chose not to because they needed to protect their revenue source and the clients property was taken. The lawsuit is currently being mailed to the Department of Justice, the FBI, the DOI and all media outlets in hopes that a federal investigation of BANKERS files will ensue to uncover more victims of this scam.
