  I waited over 2 hours before even being seen by the PA. Neither she, nor Dr. Eaton himself, offered any kind of apology for the long wait. Our time is clearly not as important as theirs. No one from the office called me and let me know there was an extraordinarily long wait, or offered to reschedule me. I gladly would have, instead of taking time off work to sit in the waiting room - time I would have to make up. I understand doctors offices being busy occasionally, its the nature of the business. But this specific office is constantly running behind in excess over 2+ hours. That's just not acceptable, I don't care what profession you are. It is poor office management. Furthermore, I called the office when I was driving back to my job (I didn't have time to stick around and argue with them in person), I asked for a refund of my copay for this insane wait. I voiced my displeasure and was assured my measure would be given to the office manager. Either it wasn't, or it was simply ignored, because I never received a refund or even a phone call back explaining why. As nice as Dr. Eaton is, it doesn't excuse him for the ignorance he or his staff displays while making people wait that long without any sort of effort in trying to address the problem. I recommend AFOPA and will be going there for my knee and from now on.
