  Horrible experience ever with AAA! My husband and I have been members for nearly two decades and as each year passes the service get worse. Through the years we've had service for our personal vehicles and our business vehicles. We recently decided we've had it with AAA and choose not to renew. (The Last Straw) Sixteen months ago (was a member), I purchased a battery from AAA with a 36 mo. warranty. Last Sunday, my car would not start, so we called AAA to to take a look at it (since still under warranty). Since, I declined to renew my membership and no longer a member AAA wanted $45 to come out. So, I was given the option to drive into a local AAA service center to have them test the battery and if it failed the test it would be replaced.. warranty honored. Well...not so fast, I arrive to the M&J Auto located at 122nd Ave N/66th St N. Largo, FL ( the closet to my home) as directed by AAA (a "mom & pop" operation contracted with AAA) and their only concern was that they were going to be out of a battery!!! I advised them to call AAA which he did (I think as he went into the garage to make his call and out of my view), then he returned asking for telephone number, DL, and receipt/warranty and made a copy of both, then subsequently asked me to leave the battery and come back the next day b/c he did not have a battery for my vehicle. When I refused to leave my battery and requested he contact me when the battery arrived, he became irrate and told me he wouldn't honor the warranty...that he was doing me a favor!! But he's contracted with AAA?? I did not feel as if "I was in a SAFE LOCATION!!!!!" He was NOT doing ME a favor.. it's called honoring/fullfilling your obligation with AAA!!!! I BLAME AAA for contracting with inferior organizations and for providing sub par service! At this rate, AAA will be relics of the past like Sears, Blockbuster, Montgomery Ward, Western Auto, Circuit City, VHS recorders, home-landlines and dinosaurs!!!!!

  went to get airline ticket but talked about another trip I am planning. Kirsten was so helpful and suggested things to see and gave practical advice. She went way beyond just doing her job
